With over two decades of entrepreneurial and financial experience, Ben stands as a dynamic force in the business world, recognized for his exceptional leadership in building and growing successful enterprises. Ben’s illustrious career is marked by the founding and expansion of two publicly traded companies, both of which have flourished into multi-billion-dollar entities.
A seasoned professional with a unique skill set, Ben brings a wealth of financial markets experience to his role at Alto Financial Group. His track record includes steering two initial public offerings on both the NYSE and the NASDAQ, overseeing numerous secondary public equity offerings, private debt offerings, public debt offerings and private equity fundraising efforts. Additionally, he has played a key role in orchestrating various mergers and acquisition transactions, showcasing his versatility and strategic acumen.
Before making his mark in the business world, Ben commenced his professional journey as an active duty commissioned officer in the United States Army, eventually leaving the service with the rank of captain. This early experience instilled in him a sense of discipline, leadership and determination that would prove invaluable in his subsequent entrepreneurial ventures.
Ben’s contributions extend beyond the boardroom, as evidenced by his role as a director of Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ) from March 2007 to October 2010 and as chairman of the board of Eclipse Resources Corporation (NYSE) from 2015 to 2019. His strategic guidance and leadership have left an indelible mark on the companies he has been associated with, contributing to their growth and success.
A proud alumnus of Pennsylvania State University, Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. His academic foundation, coupled with his wealth of practical experience, positions him as a well-rounded leader with a deep understanding of financial dynamics.
